There are many ways to survive winter
In winter, the living conditions on Ruissalo are entirely different than in the pleasant summer months. The island is cold and dark, snow covers the icy ground, the plants have long since wilted away and the insects are nowhere to be seen. This begs the question: how and where do the birds, butterflies, flowering plants and other living things of Ruissalo that are so numerous in summer spend their winter?
